Meet the Sales Team
Genesis joined OneSource in 2014, hired as part of the PMO, as a Sr. Project Manager, leading Quality Management and Continuous Improvement. In her almost 8 years with the company, Genesis has had the opportunity to develop and lead many diverse teams, projects, and programs including HSSE, Vendor Management, Operations, and Employee Relations. Through her involvement in Vendor Management (and a little nudge from her boss) a door was opened and led her into Sales. Since 2018, Genesis has managed several new and emerging client accounts. Her project management and process improvement background translate well into the Sales space, and she focuses on continually improving service delivery, processes, and communications, which her customers appreciate. With the support of Executive Management and the Operations teams, her relational account management style and tireless devotion to her customers have afforded OSBT many new and exciting opportunities. The new year brings even more new opportunity and Genesis looks forward to continuing to develop her key accounts, Insight and 8x8. In addition, she is extremely excited to add the Teksynap account to her portfolio with the goal of providing stellar customer service and applying her knowledge and skills to add value to this growing relationship.
John came to OneSource Building Technologies with a background in project management and analytics. He started his career at Hewlett Packard as a Manufacturing Strategic Development Analysis. Working primarily on projects to improve manufacturing performance and efficiency. After two years at Hewlett Packard, John joined the OneSource team as a Business Analyst. John developed key performance metrics to help gauge operational performance and efficiencies. John used his analytical data and metrics to enable OneSource to cut their bottom line, boosting over all profit margins across the company. Since joining OneSource, John has transitioned through several roles. He is excited about his future opportunity as he looks forward to taking on the position of Account Manager over the Windstream Account. He has spent several years working with the operations team at Windstream and looks forward to continuing to build the relationship between OneSource and Windstream.
Business Development Manager
Lanie comes from a large, blended family that taught her patience and empathy. Over the course of her career, she worked in fashion, retail, technical sales, client management and project management. Although she loved the idea of Fashion Show Production, she was eager for a challenge and therefore landed in the tech industry. She has learned having a sense of humor and transparency in any situation can go a long way. She is used to working with various personality types and truly enjoys the journey of building long lasting relationships with people and helping solve a problem when she can. Lanie looks forward to growing with the Verizon Business Group and she cannot wait to meet all the amazing people along the way!
Business Development Manager
Danny came to OneSource Building Technologies with a background in Sales in the Software space. He brings over two and a half years of experience at OSBT, where he has worked with two of our largest clients, Windstream and Verizon. With that experience, he has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of small to large projects, representing OSBT in several global countries. He strives every day to make sure that all clients and OneSource are represented as a trusted partner. He is excited and eager to move into his next role managing the Verizon Business Group. He has had the opportunity to hand pick his team and is ready to start diving into new segments of the Verizon Business Unit. With a strategic approach Danny plans to grow the Verizon Business Account to be the largest account OneSource has ever had.
Janie Smith graduated with a bachelor's degree in General Business with an emphasis in accounting. After graduating, she thought she would follow her family’s path by working in the oil industry. That quickly changed after she accepted a position at a general contracting company as a Senior Project Manager.
Janie was trusted with many responsibilities, which is where she developed a passion for project and account management. After a successful 3.5 years, Janie was looking to utilize her expertise in the growing field of IT and joined the OSBT team in 2018 as a Project Coordinator.
True to her nature, Janie excelled in her role of Project Coordinator and transitioned into the role of a PMO Officer where she has successfully developed quotes, led projects, mitigated risk, and deployed profitable projects.
It is with great excitement that Janie transitions into her new role as Account Manager. She is excited most about building relationships with her clients, GlobalGig, Kriaanet, M3, Syringa, and ViaSat, and is confident that her understanding of technical processes and project management skills will deliver tremendous value to her clients every time.
Business Development Manager
Michael, who has a background in Computer Networking System Technology, has recently joined OneSource bringing 20 years of highly technical sales experience. Michael spent 5 years early in his career in retail and operations management, managing a large retail chain store, after which he spent 4 years a service advisor in automotive. Followed by 3 years growing and project managing a startup energy-efficient lighting company, working with some of the largest manufacturing and warehouse facilities in the US and Mexico. Michael spent the next 11 years working for a seal and engineering plastics company, providing high quality service and products, for not only a growing small company but a large corporation too. During those years, Michael built many lifelong relationships with customers, many of which he stays connected with today. He feels it is extremely important to be a jack of all trades and a master of none, which is oftentimes better than a master of one. This has led him to be very versatile and adaptive to his environment. In doing so he has established himself as not just a viable resource of information but as extremely trustworthy to his customers. Now at OneSource (OSBT) he will be taking on a new role, one that is familiar to him, as he has managed many major accounts, as the Pepsi Account Manager. Michael is extremely excited to bring his high-quality service and passion to build strong and lasting value-added relationships, built on trust and knowledge.
Senior Enterprise Executive
Richard Carroll has over 25 years of experience in the management of high-performance professional staff across multiple fields in technology including IT, AV, and Telecommunications. Mr. Carroll joined OSBT as the Operations Manager in 2005 and has held multiple leadership positions in the PMO, Service Delivery, and Sales departments. With the strategic development of the Verizon Business Group Account Management Team, Richard joins his peers in support of OSBT’s global initiative to provide high quality products and services to its top tier client. Henry Ford said, "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success." I am excited about this new chapter in my career with OSBT.
