Project Coordinator

OneSource Building Technologies (OSBT) provides integrated, value-added solutions and services to large-scale national and international customers with a global service provider network, a single point of contact, accountability, consistent quality and on-time delivery.

 

OSBT is seeking a driven and self-motivated Project Coordinator. This individual is responsible for effective communication, dynamic project management and relationship building among diverse accounts and customers. The PC will support diverse accounts focused on expeditious and quality delivery and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination of IT field technician dispatching and project support.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Accepting, entering, and processing work orders from customers and internal sales
• Coordinates recruitment and assignment of field resources for timely completion of all required service and project work activities within company established profit margins
• Allocating and assigning internal technicians and/or external partner resources to perform technology services for customers
• Ensures field resources are on-time and prepared; completing the preparation phone calls (pre-calls) as needed
• Ensure customers’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Manages incoming client requests, providing progress status to Management, customers and team via phone email and meetings, as required
• Effectively interacts and communicates with project teams, managers, customers, call center and other diverse internal department teams to maintain collaborative relationships to meet customer and account objectives
• Coordinates the purchase and/or delivery of the necessary materials and equipment needed to complete work service events
• Utilizes disparate tools and systems (SharePoint, MS Excel, ticketing system, etc.) to log project phase activities and update project status
• Develops and maintains accurate and complete technical and project documentation
• Monitors assigned work queues, escalating when necessary, and providing updates throughout the day to customers, internal teams and managers

Requirements
• Experience in the IT Telecommunications industry with the capacity to understand and manage multiple projects, multiple customers
• Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Software, and other software programs that may be required
• Strong interpersonal skills and some experience interacting with customers similar to that of performing work onsite
• Demonstrate the ability to articulate themselves both verbally and in writing to describe processes for work-related functions on a given site (Outside and/or Inside Plant Service needs, cabling need, local exchange carrier buildout requirements, etc.)
• Ability to effectively create and document technical scopes and/or projects
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and construction documents
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to resolve simple to complex telecommunications estimates


Qualifications
• 2+ years experience in the Telecommunication Industry
• Experience troubleshooting network equipment
• Experience with Excel and Microsoft Suites
• Familiar with LAN/WAN, routers, switches, gateways, circuits, cable extensions
• Experience using a variety of test equipment to isolate, identify, and analyze equipment; troubleshoot issues
• Knowledge of routing, CAT5 or CAT6 cable. Install various support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures
