Jr. Network Administrator

OneSource Building Technologies (OSBT) provides integrated, value-added solutions and services to large-scale national and international customers with a global service provider network, a single point of contact, accountability, consistent quality and on-time delivery.


OSBT is seeking a driven and self-motivated Jr. Network Administrator to provide advanced network implementation, support and troubleshooting services related to Cisco Wireless technologies, and providing technical direction to internal teams and field resources. The Wireless Network Coordinator candidate should have experience configuring, implementing, testing, and documenting wireless networks.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Coordinates closely service resources to align solution designs with customers business requirements
• Provide network support and maintain the intended use of IT Services and infrastructure
• Administer and manage all network components by applying technological information obtained through training, experience and reference materials
• Give technical direction and oversight to survey teams
• Collect and analyze daily survey data from teams in the field, ensuring that the RF survey requirements are being met
• Author full site survey reports based on survey data using Visio and Microsoft Word
• Monitor ongoing progress and make recommendations for improvement in efficiency
• Regularly interact with customers, field resources, and internal departments to ensure success for all assigned projects
• Demonstrates and maintains complete extensive knowledge of OSBTs service solutions
• Collaborates with internal departments to facilitate customers’ needs and fulfillment and ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives


Requirements
• Experience in the IT Telecommunications industry with the capacity to understand and manage multiple projects, multiple customers
• Proficient in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Software, and other software programs that may be required
• Strong interpersonal skills and some experience interacting with customers similar to that of performing work onsite
• Demonstrate the ability to articulate themselves both verbally and in writing to describe processes for work-related functions on a given site (Outside and/or Inside Plant Service needs, cabling need, local exchange carrier buildout requirements, etc.)
• Ability to effectively understand technical scopes and/or projects
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to resolve simple to complex telecommunications estimates
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and construction documents a plus


Qualifications
• 2+ years of networking experience
• CCNA,CCNP, CCIE preferred
• Knowledge of Meraki, Ekahau, and/or AirMagnet
• Extensive experience with Java, C#, Visio, WiFi, Networking, and C++
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft software
• Ability to focus on multiple projects at once and to troubleshoot problems quickly
