About the Role
OneSource is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that drive growth and revenue for the organization through digital partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and negotiations, as well as experience working in the digital space and a deep understanding of the trends and dynamics of the IT industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are also essential.
Requirements
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develop growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
Calling on and collaborating with client and internal Executive level key players.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
Qualifications
Five years of proven sales experience in business or a related area.
Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Experience in Technology industry, a plus – highly desired.
